A Fun Way To Teach Landmark Notes: Bass F

In PianoForte Level Two students are introduced to the concept of the musical stave and Landmark Notes. Each landmark note is presented in a fun way to help engage students and make it memorable. This is a performance of “The F Song” which highlights Bass F. This is such a favourite, students love it and I am always excited when someone arrives at this part in the book because I love to play it just as much as they do! As students carry on if they ever have a moment when they forget where bass F is, all we have to do is chant “Bass F, now with the right hand…” and they immediately know where to go. I love it when teaching music is a musical as possible for every lesson. I hope you enjoy our performance of “The F Song”!
