PianoForte Major Scales introduces all the major scales in a systematic and clear way. This is an interactive workbook to help students both learn and understand each major scale
Scales are approached from a several angles to help students develop a deep understanding of the fundamentals of music harmony. This includes the Circle of 5ths, Building Scales (using intervals and solfa syllables), Piano Fingering, Key Signatures, Scale Spelling and Music Analysis.
Throughout this method, scales are used to help students develop a rich understanding of how music functions both harmonically and melodically.

Each major key is presented individually as its own lesson. These lessons include Notation, Fingering Charts, Scale Spelling, Key Signature Study and a Musical Score that demonstrates the tonality as music - the approach is thorough both conceptually and musically.
With this method there is no such thing as a scale or key that is ‘too difficult’ to play or understand. All the keys are presented including the enharmonic keys. Students learn these the same as all they others.
